Chandigarh/Hisar: A joint team of Hisar Special Task Force (STF) and Chandigarh Police arrested the two suspects, wanted in two blasts outside two night clubs in Sector 26, following an encounter with the cops near Piranwali village in Hisar, Haryana, on Friday evening.
Between 15 and 18 bullets were fired from both sides. The two accused, identified as Vinay and Ajit, were injured after being shot in the leg. The bullets fired by the accused hit the body armor of a police team. Two nationally produced pistols were seized from the two men, who were taken into custody by the police.

Vinay, a resident of Devan village, and Ajit, a resident of Kharar village of Hisar district, were admitted to Hisar General Hospital under police protection. Both are kabaddi players.
While Vinay has done BA, Ajit is a class X passout. Both will be arrested upon discharge from the hospital.
Initial investigation revealed that both had thrown bombs on the instructions of Goldy Brar, an associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The Hisar STF team said on Friday around 8 pm, Vinay and Ajit were traveling from Hisar to Piranwali village on a bike. As soon as the police received the information, a team started the chase. Ajit was driving the bike. As they accelerated, their bike slipped in the mud and they both began running on foot. When police pursued them, the two men opened fire. As police returned fire, both were shot in the leg, the STF said.
Earlier, during the investigation by the Chandigarh police, both of them were captured on a CCTV camera installed at a toll plaza in Hisar. In the pictures, Vinay could be seen wearing a shawl. Police had earlier obtained a CCTV footage of the accused throwing bombs while wearing a shawl.
Two men on bikes had thrown bombs in front of Seville Bar and Lounge and De’Orra Club located in Sector 26, Chandigarh, at 3:14 am on Tuesday.
Although the entrance to a club sustained some damage in one of the explosions, no one was injured in either incident.
